I just updated to Version 6 Update 16 one week ago, so thanks very much for letting us know that the new update Version 17 is now out, (cause I wouldn't have thought to look for it for a long while)! By the way, for those of you, like me, who use 32-bit and 64-bit browsers interchangeably, you will need to install both 32-bit and 64-bit Java in order to have the Java plug-in for both browsers. To find out if Java is working on your system visit:Test your Java Virtual Machine (JVM), and then, go to the Java website for the most recent Java downloads. To see whether you have the right update(s) installed on your system, you can click here: verify Java has been installed correctly. And be sure to restart your browser after each update is installed. |
