Windows Media Player

Can anyone help as I've been looking for a solution for days.

Windows Media Player v 11.0.6002.18005 won’t show videos in either MOV or AVI format even though I have two codecs loaded which should play them. (GSPOT program has confirmed this - Microsoft tip)

I have another issues with windows can't update and it seems stuck installing service pack 3 of 3 when I load up - could they be linked?

Download VLC media player VLC Media Player - Download
Download the service pack 3 and install it manually.. perhaps the download ones are missing files..

Hi, you can check your codecs for avi and mov formats, if they're both ok, try this option:uninstall your WMP and re-install, hope it works.
