ActiveX error 429

Hello.

I have a program called "Free FLV Converter 6.7.4 installed, but when I run it it..I receive this error: "Error 429: Cannot load ActiveX component." I have clean my registry and re-installed the program, but it doesn't seem to work.

I have recently reset my system, anad I have only experienced this problem since then, and so far only with this program. I have Vista x64 SP2 installed, with .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. I also have the latest Windows Vista updates.

So is there an easy (preferably free) way to fix this problem? I know it probably involves MDAC, but I can't seem to repair that either...

Thanks for help and advice:cool:

If Free FLV Converter has a forum, you should try there. It looks like '429' is just an error number that they use in the program. Afaict it doesn't correspond to a standard Windows or HRESULT error code. You have to ask them what ActiveX they are trying to load. Maybe it's not on your system or maybe it's a problem because it's a 32 bit server and you are on 64 bit. Could be just about anything. Most likely the program either didn't install it or can't find it.
