Outlook 2003 - Advanced Editor H File Error

Hey there

I am running Vista x 64 and have just started (yesterday) using Firefox for my internet as I had problems with Internet Explorer. That part is all working good now, however, I am trying to do an email signature in Microsoft Outlook 2003. When I try to advance edit, it is saying "Could not find an editor for H (.) files. This happened when we first loaded Outlook about a year ago and we had to change the program association with HTML to Microsoft Word (that was also when we were using Internet Explorer). I have done this again via the control panel and as it was set to Firefox I changed the default to Microsoft Word but it hasn't resolved the problem and I still get the same error.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Me,

All the other posters are now asking, who is me?

I told you that I do not know how to solve this problem, at least in an Ortodox way.

Since, I know something about your history. Give this a try. Go to the site that I will supply and try to download Internet Explorer, again. The worst that could happen is that you get a message that you already have it. But it may go through the procedure of installing again. If so it may work with your Outlook 03, like it did in the past.

Make a system restore point just in case.

The cost is a big smilely face, in the event that my idea works..

When you go to the site use FF. If you use IE, it will detect and refuse to install, again.
