HI,
I have spend a few hrs now trying to enable IIS on Windows VIsta but in vain. All my attempts were unsuccessful.
I see tons of error in the event viewer like
Windows Servicing failed to complete the process of setting package Windows Foundation (Foundation) into Installed(Installed) state
Windows Servicing failed to complete the process of setting package KB971657 (Security Update) into Installed(Installed) state
e.t.c
I also verified that i am unable to enable some other windows components as well ..
After reading some posts i have disabled all the non microsoft services and i ran a SFC and got the below errors in the cbs.log, what do i do next?
