Windows one care has been discontinued. If memory serves me correctly, it has a firewall and antivirus. If that is the case, the windows firewall is correctly shut down. You only need one firewall and one antivirus.

That's the problem, it is only happening on my brother's computer, and not on anyone elses. i have run Avast! Antivirus and that picked up a trojan, and it is currently running a boot scan. if that doesn't work, any ideas?

Also, run malwarbytes and then report back

Malwarebytes.org

I run the software in addition to my antivirus. It is looking for a malware, not necessarily virus'. It did find one malware on my computer, not found by my Anti Virus.
