How Not to delete user name and password?

I am running Vista Home Premium/IE8 and using the free version of CCleaner 2.29.1111.
When I use CCleaner it deletes user name and password so then I have to re enter those items.

Any suggestions on how to avoid having to do this after using CCleaner?

The box for Autocomplete form history in CCleaner is greyed out but unchecked and in IE8/tools/contents/autocomplete settings all boxes are checked excepts feeds.
Went to Piriform forum and todate no response so here I am looking for help.
    Thanks in Advance

I dont think there is a paid version of CCleaner, As for running the cleaner, I don't use that anymore for exactly the reason you are describing, I usually just run the registry cleaner in CCleaner, And for IE8 I use the Safety Tab, Delete Browsing History and you can choose what you want cleaned, The settings on mine below keep me from having to enter user name and password after deleting browsing history.

Thanks for your quick response. Looking at your set up how and when do remove the cookies?
Probably someone will respond by.....eating them with milk.

Got Milk? No seriously though, Are you trying to remove all or just some cookies, That's what keeps your log in info, If you type, shell:cookies in start menu search you'll get a list of them.

If I set my browsing history with cookies unchecked like derkimo does and
by deleting them from shell:cookies will that avoid me from having to re-enter name and password in all these tech forums I participate in?

After you respond we can close this thread out as I am sure you have more important threads to review than this freshly home made chocolate chip cookies hot right out of the oven with a tall glass of cold milk.

Your last sentence(above) is what I wanted to know. I usually never log out so when the next day arrives I can go right back in and look things over.
This is my way of learning about today's computing and all the problems others are having so if and when I do have a problem, I know how to fix it.

Have a great week-end and let's close this baby down. Time for some hot cookies and milk!
