Executables Not Recognized

I tried starting an application from one of my shortcuts and it displayed an error message that stated the location of the program and "Application not found." So, I tried to run it from it's original directory and that window popped up asking me which program I wanted to run it in... WTF do I do now? This is a system-wide problem. I can't even open up cmd.exe. I thank you for you time.

In case you think it matters, I think it might have something to do with me sending Vista Antivirus Pro to my AVG vault. -_- That thing was really piddling me off and I was ecstatic when AVG classified it as a trojan when I closed the whole process tree for it.

Hi,

Download the .reg file attached to your desktop, Right Click on it and click "Merge" (or just run it). Select "Yes" then OK.

Does this fix your problem?

Also, run the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and remove any infections.
