Hi folks. depends.exe will not function on my Vista Ultimate x64. Any program I try to start has an error finding IESHIMS.DLL. The program will not profile as a consequence. There is a search sequence that could be modified but this DLL is not within the list.
Search results as a screenshot is attached. There are about 10 of these DLLs with varying dates, locations and versions. The machine runs very well otherwise; no administrative errors in the logs.
The reason this program is being used was spurred on by a Nero tech who supposedly found an error in the Nero 9 diagnostics CAB file. The complaint was that I could not view an MOV in Showtime. I think it is the file which was downloaded from Frostwire. Nero does everything else perfectly. I would still like to get depends to work for general knowledge and future diagnostics.
I cannot find this problem anywhere on the net or in this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
