Vista wont boot

Vista Business. Wont boot. I cant log in to Safe mode it wont get that far. Basically as far as i can tell my client pull a USB media player without safely removing it. As far I can tell this when the problem started. I ratther not re load everything for him. I dont really want to talk that kinda of time. Considering it was hard to install vista on his computer to start with.
