The problem is my Aver Media Capture HD H727 tuner works but in Media Center only.
I want to use this card to capture video with other software but it doesn't seems to work.
If I run Adobe Flash Media Encoder Live for an example, I get "Device already in use" error. Same for MPC, VLC, AmCap and others...
Native software of AverMedia shows two devices although I have one.
What I tried:
- drivers updated for everything (graphics, sound, motherboard and tuner);
- put card into different PCI-e slots;
- stopped Media Center services, removed ehome from startup using msconfig;
- disconnect all of usb devices like scanner, camera etc..
I tried this card with another computer where is Vista Business x64 installed. Tuner works just fine. Aver Media Center shows single device and all inputs including HDMI are working just fine. There also "Crossbar" tab present in "Filter pin" properties of device where I can select what pin to use. This tab is absent in Vista Ultimate environment.
I think it connected with built in Media Center of Vista Ultimate. But I can't find what to switch off to get my tuner work. Maybe there is some registry hack etc ?
