New computer?
If you don't know what they are then I assume they came pre-installed. None of them are necessary to run the computer, and some of them are probably trial versions that will only run for a predetermined period unless you buy them.
Arcsoft Studio & Creations - Photo editing, similar to PhotoShop. Probably trial.
CD Label Print - Printing CD labels when you burn CD's - Possibly free.
Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook... Probably trial
Microsoft Silverlight - Helps appearance of some Internet Explorer web sites - Free
Quicktime - Needed for certain types of videos on some web sites - Free
Roxio My DVD - Creates video DVD's from computer video files - Probably free
Realplayer - Plays music, videos, etc. - similar to Windows Media Player but some people prefer it - Free
They won't hurt anything by being there, and you can remove the icons from your desktop by right-clicking on them and then clicking Delete, but if you don't want them, just uninstall whichever you don't want (Control Panel > Programs and Features > Click on program and click Uninstall).
Make a Restore Point first. Right-click on the Computer icon, click Properties, click System Protection. Make sure there's a check mark next to your disk drive and click
on Create. If You have a problem with your computer after reinstalling (you really shouldn't, but, just in case...) you can restore your system by clicking System Restore and selecting the Restore Point you created.
