Windows Mail

How can I solve this? I insert pictures, not attach them, in mails. When I look at the message the pictures are in the body of my e-mail, but when recipients open the mail there is a red cross in a white square instead of the picture and the picture is attached. There is a difference in the html code when I compare the one in the mail I send and the one from the received mail, Windows Mail "corrects" or "inserts" things in the code the moment I send it (that's what I can understand). How can I solve this?
Love to get an answer soon.
Thanks, Dipest.

the 'X' is there usually because the images have been blocked to help keep your computer hidden there should be a button somewere saying 'show images' or along those lines

hope this helps,
Josh

The problem is not in my computer. The problem is in the receivers'. That's why I'm asking for a solution in my WM. Is there anything in the configuration of my Windows Mail that I should change as a way it sends images embeded and not attached? I think that that was the appropiate question I was asking.
Thank you anyway for your answer.

It should be easy. Type your email, when you are at the spot that you want to insert, put your cursor. Then go to insert and then go to images. It should be easy at that point. If you have problems let me know.

Check your settings are set to send in HTML (mine are not for security reasons as i prefer my friends save & scan attachments.)

Check your friends "Block images etc." are unchecked. (mine is checked for the same security reasons as stated before.) as it is a simple process to save the attachment, scan it & then open it.

I advise you do not use these settings as you are making yourself more vulnerable to being infected by a virus or malware through your emails

Thanks Rich and Mitchell, my settings are right although I go on having the problem. I know that Windows Mail works together with Internet Explorer, should there be any restrictions because of the IE configurations? I don't know what to think, what can you tell me?
I upgraded to IE8 now and the problem is the same.
Love, thanks for your patience.

Sorry but I didn't provide much info on the matter. The thing is that I create a table and then I insert the pictures into the table's rows the way you explained. I discovered just now that the problem is the table, because if I send just a pic the pic comes embeded, when I create a table row and then insert the pic in it the image comes attached to the message not embeded in the row. There must be a problem with my html and the table code, mustn't there?
Thanks for your patience and effort to help!

How do you create the table? Is it excel or some other program. Do you put the table in the email, manually?
