    Best Video codec pack for vista

    What is the best video codec pack for vista,I have tried several and each one that I've tried there seems to be a problem loading videos from my digi camera,I have vista home premium on my hp 6525 pc,and to play videos on windows media player I have to convert them before media player will play them.

    I use Combined Community Codec Pack and did once find a video that it wouldn't play but latest version did play it.
    I use MPlayer for windows as a spare if it happens again (plays 206 file types)

    Well I'm glad that I was able to help you

    Just one quick thing that I have found, is that it doesn't seem to like burning .mp4 videos in Windows DVD Maker, but oh well.

    And another point, is that it won't update itself, you will have to check now and then.

    If you want to make the update checking easier, then you could create a task to open the website every week? If you wan to do this and require instructions then feel free to ask me, I would be happy to help
