Has anyone bought the upgrade to MS Office 2007. Is it really worth the money? Please advise. :geek:

I think it depends. If you use Office quite a bit and don't really mind not having the latest and greatest version, it's worth it. You would probably save some cash because there is a newer version. But, if you don't really use office much, don't buy it. If you want the latest and greatest, skip 2007 and get 2010. I use 2007 and it's been working great for me.

Hi TNUH,

I am afraid I did not explain myself correctly. I use 2007 and wanted to know if there was enough difference between 2007 and 2010 to Justify the cost of an upgrade?

Oh, in that case... I used the beta of 2010. And I probably wouldn't buy 2010. To me it was the same. Yea, they moved a few things around and try to pass it off to me as "Modified" but I just don't see a big reason to move to 2010 right now. Since I can get it cheap, I might wait until a service pack comes out, but full price... not worth it IMO. Office 2007 gets it done for me.

You would probably want some more oppinions though, I havent used it for too long, lost it while reformatting.

Best of luck on the decision. :)
