I have postd this question before and am still looking for an answer.
I have a Dell Inspirion 530 running Vista with service pack 2. When I attempt to install Quicken, I get 'Setup.exe has stopped working'.
Here is what I have tried.
1) HOURS on the phone with Quicken Help Desk.
2) Use QcleanUI to uninstall Quicken, remove all Quicken folders, etc from desktop, and reinstall Quicken.
3) Used uniblue.registry booster to run a registry scam and clean up errors, and have defraged my registry.
I am at my wit's end. QuickBooks Support deleted my Quicken when installing QuickeBooks. I have lost the ability to view 10 plus years of financial history.
Please help!
