My Documents page totals wrong

Hi there - first post - I don't have many problems and this isn't a BIG one but can't find a solution on the net so came here.

I have lots of Word 2007 docs in My Docs and it is often useful for me to know how many pages are on each. Most are several pages. It is especially useful to know which docs are only 1 page. However, frequently those which show 1 page are often multi-page! This is really no good.
Can anyone please help with a solution?

Second problem is that many of my older docs are Word 97-2003 transferred from an old computer and many of them say only 1 page but are usually several pages.
Again, can this be rectified easily please?

Have you customized your Status Bar to show the number of pages in the document? The Status Bar is the location of that function, (as well as telling you what page you're currently looking at).

TO CUSTOMIZE STATUS BAR - The MS Word Status Bar is at the bottom of every MS Word page.

To access the Status Bar Menu – to Change Options: right-click on Status Bar and the Menu comes up.

Check 'Page Number'

If you wish, you can also check 'Formatted Page Number' as well as 'Vertical Page Position.'

Thanks Imperfect1. The number of the page does indeed appear in the bottom LH part of the Status Bar but the problem is in My Documents where I have the Pages (total) listed. A particular document shows 1 when it has 9 pages for instance.
In "My Documents" I have many different sections listed alphabetically and each section (file) is listed under the headings, "Name", "Date modified", "Type", "Size", and "Pages". This is where the problem is.
