Windows Media Player 11 and McAfee Firewall

Dear all,



at the moment I can only get the albuminformation, if I deactivate the McAfee Firewall, which is surely not a solution.

Message:
"Diese Programm kann die Website nicht anzeigen."


Does somebody has an idea which rule I have to add?

Make a system restore point. Uninstall Mcafee and download and try security essentials. Very few problems with Security Essentials.

Essentials is the AV of choice at the forum.

Dear all,

I found found a more detailed solution.

1. Remove the permissions of the Windows Media Player from Program List of the Firewall.
2. Restart the Windows Media Player.
