evening alll...new to site and hope that someone can help me...
i run my own business and was using outlook express to send mails to clients.
i have a database with 20,000 email addresses and when i wanted to contact a certain area i would block email them.
basically i would copy from my excel database and paste into the BCC section on outlook and then press send....simple....
problem now is that my netbook broke and so i have a new one and set up windows live mail....well brother did....all was well sending mails and recveiving them but tonight i tried to copy multiple email adresses from the same database and put them into the BCC section on windows live mail and it will not send.

BAsically when I paste then adresses it is stacking the names above each other with no semicolon between them. If I just put a coupe of the adresses in and then put a semi colon between the adresses the mail will send..

question is how do i send mails to multiple users (50 adresses at a time)

i really look forward to hearing from anyone

many thanks

gary

HOW CAN I GET THE ADDRESSES TO HAVE SEMI COLONS BETWEEN THEM WHEN I PASTE THE ADRESSES INTO THE bcc SECTION OF THE MAIL.

Welcome
Dont know the answer to your question off the top, but you can set up contact groups.
If you send certain documents to the same group all the time, you can put them in a contact group
Create contact groups in Windows Live Mail

It seems so weird that when i was using outlook on the old computer and when i copied and then pasted the e mail adresses the addresses were pasted with semicolon between each address.
No when i paste the addresses onto windows live mail they are just stacked on top of each other with no semi colons and so will not send.
putting a semicolon between each and every name just is not possible as i sent the same mail to around 80 email addresses at a time and around 20 of those mails (so 20 x 80 equals alont of semicolons)....there has to be a way to resolve......
