Account Unknown - Desktops

So I downloaded this program called Desktops from this site.

I Unzipped the file and put it in to my c drive and installed.

Now, I cannot delete the Desktops folder from withing my Downloads folder. I found an Account Unknown in the file sharing section of the folder's properties. BUT WAIT, I have done my research, and I haven't deleted an account since long before I downloaded this program.

BUT WAIT, I tried to delete the unknown account anyways and it wouldn't let me do to it's inherent parent. haha that rhymed. So I went to the properties of the Downloads folder and the inherent parent of that folder is where I need to go.

But I can't see the properties of my account folder. In this case its Mike.

I have also updated my definitions on malware bytes and ran a deep scan as well as
with Vipre.

I am at a loss for words or thoughts. I have no clue how to fix this and would greatly appreciate help on this matter.

With a system restore go back 3 days before you tried to improve the system. Then wait until morning, when you will be told how to proceed

Restore will remove everything that you have done. When back normal we can decide what to do with desktops
I will look into this great download and tell you how to proceed.

Dont worry, however, if your computer is operating correctly those unknow accounts are probably just the way the program operates. I think, it is best to leave the OS the way it was intended.
That is a safe Website, however.

My system seems to be running fine. Also, I can't restore back before this download it was probably a month ago, and I only have about 2 weeks back.

I appreciate your help. I will be checking in frequently awaiting any suggestions on my scenario.

When you saw what was availble, did you check bottom left. (show additional dates)
You were moved because you hijacked a thread. It was a thread for another poster. You and the other poster should receive all our attention and not have to share.

Yes I did check for additional dates. The original is only 5 days. The extra ones go back about 2 weeks.

and apologies for "hijacking" someone thread...didn't know I could do that.
