Thanks Richard:
You have helped. With my limited expertise I am probably better off to upgrade the
program than create problems trying to save a few bucks.

I had a Scrabble game for Windows 98. When I got Vista (now have Seven), I used compatibilty mode. It worked like crap. If I were you. I would save my money. Buy the Upgrade version of Windows 7. It can be installed just like the full version. Then as finance permits, buy the software that you like. Seven and Eight will be the wave of the future.

I figured out how to get Printmaster Platinum 7.0 installed on Vista 64 Bit Home. If you try to install it using the install.exe on the install disc, it will fail with a message advising you that you have a non supported operating system. But there is a directory on the Install CD named INSTALL. I opened windows explorer, and inside the INSTALL directory on the Install CD, there is a file named inst32.exe If you right click on it and run it as administrator, it will lauch and install. I did a custom install and installed the program into the Program Files (X86) directory on my system drive, naming the folder that installed the program as printmaster7 ... Once you get the program installed it runs great. The Calendar function even works, and I printed a calendar for April 2012. All of the functions seem to work fine so far. I think the only problem was that the install.exe on the Install CD checked to see what OS you have, and of course does not recognize the new OS.
