Works Problem

It's been a while-things have been running okay until now!

I run Vista Home Premium on a Dell PC, and the OS came with Works. I only ever use the Word Processor section for creating text documents.

To-day, first time ever, it started acting up. When I open a doc and start to edit it, the scroll bar activates, up in jerky stages until it reaches the top, then stops. I scroll down, and soon as I hit the cursor, off it goes again.

Any idea what causes this? Could it be a registry problem. I use CC Cleaner and I did a clean and reg check last night. Could I have removed something important?

I'm no expert on computers.

Rich,

Thanks. Interestingly enough, that was the first thing I did, but it did not work. However, I went back and tried again, a day earlier, and bingo! All back to normal. Thanks also for the link. I am never, ever, ever gonna touch that registry again.

You guys always come up with the works!!!
