I looked in the search, but could not find an answer that worked.
I tried to uninstall the software from a printer after installing the new printer software. It does not work via the add/remove program. See attachment.
Now everytime I re-start the computer the window installer ask repeatedly for the cd-rom. Even when I put the cd-rom from the new printer in the computer, it repeat the question (can not find file of HPPhotosmart Essentials which is on both of the printer soft ware cd's). It takes many times of cancelling the install before it finally does and the pc goes back to normal operation. I tried to download and use the recommended Absolute Uninstaller, but when trying to use it, an error code comes up that a file is missing. So I did uninstall it again.
