First off, is it even possible to uninstall a program without it leaving any data, files and such left behind.
With or without the use of an Uninstalling program.
If so, could you please point some out?
Thanks to those with helpful replies.

The best way if using system restore. Restore is just an image before the change
Usually that is not possible, if the change that you want to make existed a long time ago.
The second best method is Revno.

Thats about it.
Restore? Isn't that a bit too much?
Sounds inconvienent to restore every time you install a program and it's not what your looking for or things don't workout.
Revno, I'll give that a look and download or not.
Thanks for your input.
All I did was answer your question, which asked "Is there a way" and I answered. The choice of using the suggestions is up to you. I personally, just use the cp uninstall and then ccleaner to clean up the crap. (the first c stand for crap, really)
Hello!
I am one of the very few members not to use Revo, and so you can compare my view with everybody else's. Sorry, there is no right and wrong...there is only balanced argument!
System Restore only keeps records of certain parts of the hard drive. A corruption on a system file it can work miracles on, but it can also leave a massive mess - removing half of the program's files from certain folders, but plainly ignoring the files and registry keys from other locations.
A program's uninstaller is carefully designed by the developer (I for one code mine carefully) It is true that some programs leave configuration settings behind, just in case you change your mind about uninstalling. What will these do? Not a lot, actually. Just sit there idle until used or hard disk formatted. They are not a problem, may cause good in the future (???), but really are nothing to worry about.
I don't want Revo poking around, and guessing at what I want deleted!
If an uninstall epically fails, and this is very rare on modern computers, I try to uninstall again. If not, I reinstall the application, and try to cleanly uninstall. If this still fails, I use the Microsoft Windows Installer Clean up Tool to remove what the installer is trying, but failing to, and only the stuff intended to be uninstalled.
This is just how I do things...
Richard
I know this is not the right section/forum for asking the following:
Anyone know of a free online backup service? At least 2gb or so.
Or would it be much easier to go a buy a separate hard drive to back up my files.
Macrium reflect
Cant get the link right now the site is busy.
I use Revo as my main uninstaller. It sets a restore point before doing anything.
It will use the programs own uninstaller first and then scan for left over rubbish
I have found a lot of programs ask to restart your computer as part of the uninstall. DON'T let it until Revo has finished or you won't be able to find the entry to remove left over bits.
I have never had any problems using this program.
