If you followed the procedure that I gave you, it is very possible that the cookie cannot perform the funtion that it is suppose to, so you may be safe.
The cookies is put there by Adobe Flash Player and I do not think that you want to give that feature up.
The problem with the cookie, if I can believe everything that I read is that it has access to your webcam and can take pictures of you. There are several solutions, you can always make sure that your webcam is off.

As long as you use Adobe, this will cookie will return, so you can uninstall adobe, but you will lose many features that you enjoy.
Note,
I have just discovered that with the new version of Ccleaner, to make sure that you do not lose your cookies, make sure that cookies are unchecked as well as sytem files, a bit further down. I just found out the hard way.
What I am going to do, is leave those two unchecked and then once a quarter use TFC, which is better and that will delete cookies, but do a great cleaning job. Using TFC helps get rid of any hidden virus too.
