How to record live streaming video

Hi every1

I watch live cricket games through internet all the time, it uses media player to play the live video streaming. Is there a way I can copy live streaming video onto my hard disk as a video file while watching it?

My Computer

Hi,
I guess that maybe there would a problem with copyright, I may be wrong?

I would assume live streaming as 2009 would conflict with the rights of the owner.

Other members may have more insight into this particular aspect of legal/copyright.

Its a bit of a grey area really. The more regularly asked question is Are you allowed to record football games?.

As I am not a lawyer, I don't know this for certain but from doing a bit of research it seems you are allowed to record cricket games without written consent from the copyright holders (unless you try and sell it) - but I am talking about recording it onto a VCR or a similar piece of kit. I would say that you are allowed to do so IF:

-You don't sell the copy
-You are able to watch the game legally in the first place

If you can clear this up for me, I will tell you how to record streams.

What browser are you using?

When you move your mouse over the video, you should see something like:

brightcove-download.annotated.60pc.jpg

Can you see it?
