Uninstalling A Program

I recently did a free download of Active Desktop Calender but decided I didn't want it anymore so I tried to uninstall it. When doing this, in the programs and features I clicked remove program from list. Now when I go into the file location I try to delete it and go through all the administrator stuff it still won't let me remove the program. Any help would be great!

Try Unlocker or LockHunter. Sometimes Explorer shell will hold a file handle open even though the library or exe is closed. Just google for download links.

And you can try to do it in safe mode or maybe the best way if not installed a long time ago is a system restore.

Since it integrates into the desktop, have you tried logging off or rebooting? Also you can try loading Task manager and killing Explorer.
