I have removed directX10 from regedit.

    I have removed directX10 from regedit.

    I removed directX10 from regedit. So do i have it at all?
    Atleast games think i dont have it. So how i get it back?

    DirectX download - DirectX 10, DirectX 9, DirectX 8 and the new DirectX 11 - how to get them.

    btw can i use directx11 on vista?
    And can games that require directX9 use directX11 instead?(i know they cant use 10)

    Looks like you can if you have SP2
    DirectX 11 for Windows Vista SP2 Available for Download - Softpedia
    but you have to make the final decision.

    I think i only need to tell regedit that im still using direcX10 (i dont have SP2 cause windows update cant install it but we can discuss that after i got my directX10 working)

    Did you backup your Registry? Why did you change it?

    None of those worked all dirctX installers gives me error message. I think i need ot somehow modify my regedit that it will know that i got directX10 cause i removed the folder from there.
