Hi All,

Today I did a clean install of my computer. I have done this many times over the years, but today I have a problem.

Everything is working fine until I try to go on sites that use flash player, like you tube. When I try to download the flash player, Explorer closes down and I can't install.

I am sure you guys will be able to help me and I come with cap in hand a beaten man. I have spent the last 4 hours trying to sort this! Sometime I can't see the woods for the trees!

Oh it also says Java script is disabled. How do I enable it?

Ty to see if you can uninstall any remanants that you may have then try to reinstall

Test to see if it works with other broswers. Try firefox for the test.

I have tried that and I thought it was working, as the software started to download this time. However once I thought the download was completed, I tried it and Explorer shut down again.

See if it works with firefox. This will give us a clue as to the cause. While trying to fix it, at least you can watch you tube, if it works with Firefox.
Also try to get rid of the add ons in IE

I think any brower wil work.

I have downloaded the flashflash player and now I have to enable Javascript. Can you help?
