port 7500 seems closed

I was using a communications program called GCN on my laptop using Vista. The site of the GCN program is www.gcn.cx and they use port 7500.

It was running fine. I left it running and went out for 3 hours. When I came back the computer seemed to have gone into sleep although I have always set it to never sleep.

The result is that it cannot now log into the GCN program. I tried to open the program on two additional PCs, one running XP the other Windows &. Nether owuld connect. Any ideas? Thanks, Andrew

I'm using Norton 360 and have switched it off and looked at the port settings. I'm beginning to suspect that the program's server is down, since someone else couldnt log on, so am just waiting to see
