:eek: I have one Lightscribe DVD burner, and I use Alcohol %120 as a virtual drive (the latest version).
Problem: when I reboot the PC, sometimes both drives disappear, and in device manager they are listed as having no drivers installed. I cannot uninstall Alcohol, as i get the message "adapter is locked". no restore procedures fix this.I can not use system restore, I cannot backup from an image file using windows backup. I can not do a clean install of vista, formatting the drive and then restoring a image backup, this too fails!(it installs but still no drives listed!)
This is all new hardware. I am stumped, as this defies all logic. Please help!
