Video Converter for ipod

Hi guys...
Anyone that can recommend a nice video converter for an ipod?

This is the problem i am having, i have found a convertor which converts in vista, but as soon as it adds the video to itunes the video adds but then everytime you come to play the video through itunes, it makes the aplication crash.

As far as i can see that is the only problem with my convertor.

I use Free Ipod Converter by Koyote. After the conversion I get the Bad Public Atom error from Itunes or it just crashes. To fix this, download the application Tagger (Download « Tagger (make sure you have JRE installed!). Open the file through this application, then save it. That should fix the problem.

Does this course the error i stated and is it free?

Both programs are free. Not sure what error you are referring to, you didn't mention any error in your first post. If the error you are referring to is a Bad Public Atom from Itunes, then yes, this will fix that problem.

once you download the tagger what do you do with it?

just open the tagger, drag and drop the converted video into the tagger and save the file, works like a charm

Thanks for the tagger, i no longer need my convertor. As i can drag an AVI file in and save it as an MP4, so i don't need to convert the video.

I use nero vision i tried many others including videora and didnt work, and i have a dual core cpu nero is the only one uses both of them.

if you just need to make .mp4, WINavi mobile converter works very fast and easily for .avi

Are you looking for something that will rip DVD to the iPod?

If so check out .. Slysoft and check out the product named CloneDVD Mobile. I bought the whole package over a year ago and have used every piece of it. Simple and upgrades are free for life.
