    volume control applet not responding

    what causes my volume control applet to freeze ! Also my computer will not shut down because explorer.exe is still running ! thanks for your input!

    i have the same problem with the volume. I have to wait about 5-10 seconds before I can move the slider. I have no idea what the problem is.
