| Junior Member | Realtek claims installed, volume mixer says no I'm sure this has been dealt with, but I had my realtek HD installed perfectly fine and I deleted tunebite because I don't use it anymore and what do you know, my sound claims to be installed but when I open volume mixer it says no audio is detected. Does this mean I should try an OS reinstall? I tried three different realtek drivers and none have solved the problem. |

| NoNonsense | Re: Realtek claims installed, volume mixer says no Uninstall the drivers via the Control Panel..totally get rid of them. Reboot and then install the latest drivers from the Realtek site. Reboot. Goes without saying that you will need the 64 bit drivers, of course. |

| Junior Member | Re: Realtek claims installed, volume mixer says no I reinstalled I couldn't take it anymore. Also my motherboard had a bios update released apparently for that issue it looks like. Talk about a pain in the you know what reinstalling but they just posted it not too long ago the update. |
