Hi all,
I just got my Bluetooth headset I had been waiting for...the Plantronics Discovery DSP 645. Paired it w/ my Treo and Thinkpad T60p. Everything worked great except when it came to the driver(s?). I run Vista Ultimate x64. I shot them an email, but I'm betting on getting better help here. Do I even need a driver? Since it was trying to install one, I would imagine so. Everything else went perfectly. All the x64 Bluetooth driver sets for my Thinkpad were promptly installed. That's the reason I'm asking if I need a specific driver for the BT headset.Should be awesome using Skype with. ![]() Thanks guys!! |

Let Vista install a driver for it and see if it works!

Hey Crunch, Yeah some devices sometimes need drivers but usually work without them over bluetooth, It just depends on the Host device and the BT slave device..
I just happened to pickup a bluetooth device myself yesterday and Vista installs all the drivers minus one but it doesn't affect its operation, I'm using my BT headset as a PC headset/Mic and its working flawlessly ![]() |
