Re: quick question

Hi Hells Bells,

Welcome to Vista Forums.

You can use any sound card that you like as long as it has a Vista 64 bit driver version for it.

Do you have a integrated video chip on your motherboard and not a separate graphics card? If you do, some of your RAM my be set aside for it in the BIOS.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: quick question

Hells Bells,

What is your sound device?

You can look by opening the Control Panel (Classic View) and click on Device Manager. In Device Manager, expand the Sound, video and game controllers listing by clicking on the + sign to see the sound device under it.

Realtek is usually the one if it is integrated. It has true 64 bit drivers.
