| Vista Ultimate x64 | How can I lower the volume more? My headphones are mega loud for some reason. Right now 0 is the best volume setting lol. In XP there was a wave multiplier in the volume mixer that I used to fix that, but I don't see that in Vista. And it was annoying, because I had to change that every time I restarted. Is there a multiplier in some config file somewhere I can change to fix this permanently or something? Thanks |

| Vista Ultimate 32-bit | Re: How can I lower the volume more? Right-Click your task bar Click Properties Click "Notification Area" tab Checkmark "Volume" Click "OK" button Your volume control should present itself as an icon next to the system clock Clicking on it will present you with the master volume control, clicking on mixer will allow you to select the volume for individual applications If it's still too loud you could go into the control panel and go to SOUND and tweak the settings there. If all else fails they do sell some headphone with volume control built in and you can control it that way |
