| 32 Bit Vista Home | Sound questions Hello, I am using an HDMI cable to watch movies etc on my HD Sony Bravia, the picture shows perfectly but the sound still comes from my laptop, i was wondering if its possible to have the TV project the sound as well. HDMI cables are audio/video i tried all the various tv audio options to no avail, i am now thinking it is an option somewhere on my PC. if you have any ideas it would be appreciated. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Sound questions Hi Spyy22, Welcome to Vista Forums. ![]() Your video card will need to support HDMI, and there will usually be a connection needed to be made from your sound card to your video card for the HDMI audio so it can carry over to the HDMI monitor/TV through the cable. Hope this helps, Shawn |
