Vista 64bit and SOund Blaster X-Fi xtreme audio

hi...as the name says..i just installed vista home premium 64bit and I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for my X-Fi xtreme gamer card (even tried the beta one) and vista can't detect my sound card.....worked perfectly fine with XP.
And of course, no sound is coming out of my logitech Z-5500 speakers.
Can anyone help me with that?

try to use the windows update driver first,
let your new HP x64(Windows Vista) detect the sound card for you first ...
then install the Creative driver later,
see if this work~~~
