blue faces

Hi all. I'm using windows media player 11 and the faces of the actors are BLUE!!!!! Tried adj all the display parameters... but still some prob. How do i fix this???

Have you installed the Vista Codec Pack?

hi dmex. no haven't installed Vista Codec Pack.what is it & were do i find it? my media player was fine last week without it.

Have you tried a different monitor? Do the colors look normal when you're *not* using Media Player? How do pictures look? Have you updated software in any way recently? Has Windows by chance installed any updates on your system?

yes johngalt everything else looks normal. only dvds and short clips from emails have blue faces.Vista has updated software recently but nothing for media player 11.all my pictures look fine.

OK, try using VLC or WinAMP and see if the problem persists - if it does, then it is possibly a profile on your monitor / profile on your computer for your monitor. If not, then something in WiMP has gone goofunky (and yes, that is my technical term for it :P)
