New motherboard installed by technician (it was under warranty). Every time I restart now, I get error message:
"HP MS display has stopped working" click check online for a solution which I do and nothing happens. Everything seems to be working fine except I get this error message every time.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: dthtml.exe, etc.

How can I get the error message to stop? Thanks.

Do you have a Gateway or Samsung monitor? Most hits I see on Google are that this program is tied to Gateway and Samsung display and monitors changes in the optimal settings on your display. It could be tied to other monitors and may not be necessary to have on your PC. You could try reinstalling it to see if it rectifies your problem...I'm not sure it is actually needed at all though as it doesn't appear vital to the operation of you display

Have a brand new HPw1907 monitor that we got just before the new motherboard. Monitor works fine; just don't want this error message forever.

If your new HP monitor came with software I would reinstall try to reinstall it to see if it rectifies the error.

Either delete magictune or disable in start up. You dont need it you can change monitor settings in control panel. Or if you like it, see if they have update on software.
