| Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit | mp3 files distort with WMP-11 it would be of great help if you could tell me how to correct the problem of distortion of .mp3 files when played by windows media player 11, bundled with vista ultimate. i even tried to play it with winamp but the same problem follows. i cant understand what the problem is. i even tried to uninstall it, but there is no link under the add/remove programs, the installed updates, or in the registry. missin my favourite music player.. |

| Vista X64 Ultimate | Re: mp3 files distort with WMP-11 The easy way to avoid a lot of sound problems in Media Player 11 is this. First Open Media Player 11 and make sure you have classic menus enabled. Second click on Tools and select options. Then select the devices tab, and select the optical drive you are trying to rip MP3's from. When the properties for your optical drive are open within Media Player 11, set both Playback to Digital, and Rip to Digital and check the Use Error Correction box and then click apply and finally close the Media Player 11 properties. I find this eliminates a lot of problems for me. I do hope this helps you. |
