Vista - IDT High Definition CODEC

I'm new to the forums, and I have just upgraded from XP to Vista.

I have to update my Sigmatel Driver sooner or later, but in the mean time I'm having a little trouble with my codec.

on my sound in my control panel, on my playback tab it says my speakers are working

and that's all

on my recording tab, it says my microphone is disabled, but I don't have a microphone so that's not an issue.

it says my Line in is currently unavailable

it says my stereo mix is currently unavailable
IDT High Definition CODEC

on my sound tab it says no testing available (greyed out)

I would like to get my sound working before the weekend is all.

I am close by if you need more info, but tell me how to get it. Most of this is new.
