I used XP previously and had encountered no problems..but the moment i upgraded to vista and installed the latest realtek HD Audio driver...every 15 to 20 secs the audio manager shows a message,,,,you hav jst unplugged a device or you hav jst plugged in a device..even when no new device i.e. headphones or speakers are plugged in,,,,i disabled the auto popup dialogue box but the ballon tip keeps on appearing and it is really very irritatating now...please suggest a way to avoid this ballon tip msgs or solve the problem from the root,,,,i dont want to disable balloon tip completely beacause i need it for other applications,,,,,Any help would be really appreciated....I hav vista ultimate 32 bit and latest realtek drivers installed...R204....

i think i have a fix and want to share :)

when u open the realtek manager,
on the top right corner it says ADVANCED SETTINGS
or in my dutch version "geavanceerde apparaatinstellingen"

right under that tekst link is a small easy to miss yellow folder icon...

when u klick that, u can NUKE the detection on your front panel..
