Hi everyone I’m new to this forum so please be kind if this question has been answered I’ve taken the plunge and installed vista ultimate 32bit after years of using XP home edition. Since installing vista I’m having a lot of trouble trying to get my on board sound to work.
The speaker setup is the same as when I was using xp and they were working fine up until now
When I open the audio manager and check the audio devices it shows my speakers are working there is a green tick beside the speaker icon and when I play an audio cd the bar to the right shows there is sound but nothing comes out of my speakers
I’ve been to the gigabyte web site and downloaded the latest chipset and audio drivers and installed them with the same result
It’s very annoying as I’ve never had this problem before and I don’t know how to fix it:cry:
My specs are a gigabyte EP45-DS3R motherboard 2.53ghz core 2 duo processor with 2gb ram
