Vista Tutorial - Realtek Vista_R205.zip/exe????

Hi, I have been downloading and installing Realtek Drivers, on different PCs' for years, but for some reason I cannot get Vista_R205, to install.

I have been trying everything I know for the past 2 days, but no matter what I do, it installs upto the same point everytime then fails???? I have downloaded this particular version six times already (both .zip and .exe, all to no avail. Have also searched the internet for any other similar problems but can find nothing, so I don't think its a general problem!!

Would be most grateful for any constructive advise.

Are you getting any errors or does it just stop.

did you try d/l from diff sites

the reason i state this: the last few days i had the same problem

went to the site early in the morning and d/l with no problem

worked for me hope that may work for you

Thanks for that njnitehawk, yeah tried all that, even waited for over an hour to downlaod from Realtek's own site. I will keep trying, even if I have to wait for a new version.

Realtek's driver downloads are bad about having a slow download rate or dropping when a new version first comes out. You might wait a a few days, or try during off peak hours late at night or real early in the morning. You may also try the ZIP version, and from the 3 different download sites available for each.
