Sound from PC heard on SKYPE phone only.

New PC, new user of Vista...Intermittent sound from PC speaker & SKYPE phone; now only phone....Not even close, as a techie...
'Device Mgr's:...Realtek High Def. Audio & Philips VOIP080..
I noticed this a.m., Philips VOIP080 has taken over...Necessary to have two Mgr's?
I'm not sure what other info you need..

Go into control panel then sound and see if both are listed if they are select realtek and set that as default.

Thanks mansrm81...I selected Realtek but cannot set as default...It(device driver) is listed as "unknown application".....Lost sound from Skype phone now..

Solution found.. I spent 5hrs with a microsoft techie yesterday only to discover there is no solution and that that fact is on the SKYPE site...Amazing that!

BTW, mansrm81 as the 'Vista Pro' certainly must know that..
