| Vista basic x64 | Internet calls and VOIP Sound Problem I saw a couple of thread reporting the problem with a 'sound device error' in most VOIP installations. I tried to reply on them but they were closed so i've opened a new thread. I used 'freecall' and experienced the same problem but the problem is easily solved. 1. Uninstall the software 2. Right click the setup file and go to Properties 3. On the second tab - Compatibility, tick the - Run in Windows XP Compatibility mode 4. Run Installation again The solution works for Freecall and will hopefully work for other software having the same problem. Vikas |
