| Vista Home Premium 32bit | How do I get my laptop to recognise my camera? I have just got a Zennox DV5210 but I cannot get my laptop to recognise it because the disc that they have provided is only compatible with XP and Windows 98. Is there anyway I can get the laptop to recognise this digital camera? Thanks in advance. |

Hi Niknaid, Assume the camera comes with a USB lead what happens if you just plug the lead in without trying to load drivers you could also try something like CAM2PC Free Cam2pc Free Edition - digital camera downloader software, Graphics software |

| VISTA HOME PREMIUM X64/ 7 x64 / 7x86 | Re: How do I get my laptop to recognise my camera? Hi, Don't know if this will apply, but may be of use to someone. When I attached my vivicam to Vista via USB, it wasn't recognised as even being attached. There is a SET button on the back of my camera for changing modes. I pressed it - it must have sent a signal to the pc, as Vista immediately recognised it and installed it's native drivers. Works fine. Hope it helps SIW2 |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: How do I get my laptop to recognise my camera? Thank you very much for all the reponses I have downloaded the link and this seems to have worked. Unfortunately my laptop does not have a memory card slot - the machine is about 18 months old. Thanks again Nikky Hi Niknaid, Assume the camera comes with a USB lead what happens if you just plug the lead in without trying to load drivers you could also try something like CAM2PC Free Cam2pc Free Edition - digital camera downloader software, Graphics software |
