| Vista Home Premium 64 | Realtek HD Audio Manager in Vista 64 I am trying to adjust my mixer to accomodate my new speakers, the voice is too low, and the base is too high. I have accessed the mixer and tried to make it tollerable, but have failed. There is no direct bass and treble adjustment, and there is not a "user" or "custom" setting. There are only presets, the problems with these presets, is that they work in certain situations, but not in others. Any advise? Am I looking in the worng place? Can I put software in place to adjust the levels indepent of each other? I am using the onboard sound card on an Abit IP35 Pro, and I am using Home Premium 64. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. |

| Vista Home Premium 32-bit & Vista Ultimate 64-bit both Service Pack 2 W7 Pro RTM 7600 32 & 64 | Re: Realtek HD Audio Manager in Vista 64 Hi Homer and welcome to Vista Forums ![]() Sorry, but at the moment there are only preset options in the equalizer for the Realtek HD Audio Manager. There is a possibility that this feature might be introduced in a subsequent driver, but I wouldn't hold your breath. All I can suggest is that you keep an eye on the download site just in case a newer driver has this feature. |

| Vista Home Premium 64 | Re: Realtek HD Audio Manager in Vista 64 It sounds like my options are limited to a new sound card, my question is whether I would be using my sound card software for this feature, or if Vista would limit me to the presets even with a new sound card? Thanks for the quick reply btw! |

However, if you are referring to the volume level then this can be adjusted individually. Right click the speaker icon in the system tray and select 'Playback Devices'. Click on 'Speakers' and then 'Properties'. Select the 'Levels' tab and scroll down the list. ![]() The individual volume levels can be adjusted here. |

| Vista Home Premium 64 | Re: Realtek HD Audio Manager in Vista 64 Unortunately, the only adjustment on the speakers are the volume and the bass. I just bought some Logitech x-240's. Great entry level speakers, but the voices are off in games. Music sounds good because I can adjust it depending on what program I have plaing the music, but in game, I am not able to distinguish between the bass and treble levels... |
